COOKIE MAN is the slightly unlikely story of how I went from performer, songwriter and theatre-maker to the bloke in Margate with a cookie for a head. Along the way there’s music, cancer, homelessness, disability, businesses that worked, things that spectacularly didn’t, and quite a lot of starting again. It’s a story about making things, surviving things and somehow finding a way to keep going when life doesn’t turn out quite how you planned.

Then you get the cookies. Around 40 recipes, seven of my core cookie doughs, all the crazy flavours and extras like my infamous Bullshit Buttercream, and all the stuff I’ve learned from making and selling thousands of the bloody things. Nothing fancy or unnecessarily complicated, just proper recipes you can actually make at home and hopefully the sort of book you’ll want to keep, cook from and pass around.

It’s a proper book. A big, square, premium full-colour hardback, printed on beautiful quality paper, packed with food photography and photographs from across my life and the cookie adventure. Made to live in the kitchen, sit on the coffee table and hopefully still be around years from now.
